Team TG Crowned Champions at the Coracle World Championships in Shrewsbury

At Tudor Griffiths, we’re passionate about delivering world-class products and services — but this week, we also proved our strength in a very different arena!

On Friday, Team TG competed in the Coracle World Championships in Shrewsbury and proudly paddled our way to 1st place.

This unique charity fundraising event, held every year on the River Severn, attracts teams from across the region. After some determined “training” sessions (and finally tracking down our missing teammate Jay!), Team TG pulled together and crossed the finish line first, securing the title of Coracle World Champions 2025.

Supporting a Great Cause

Even more rewarding than the victory itself was the fact that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our colleagues, customers, and community, we also won the Top Fundraisers Trophy in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Coracle World Championships is all about having fun while making a difference, and we’re proud to have contributed to raising vital funds for such an important cause.

What’s Next for Team TG? 

Will we return to the River Severn next year to defend our Coracle World Championship title, or will we retire at the top? You’ll just have to wait and see…

For now, we’ll celebrate being both World Champions and Top Fundraisers — a double win that means the world to us.
