TG Builders Merchants Wins National Award for Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom of the Year

TG Builders Merchants is celebrating national recognition after winning Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom of the Year at the prestigious Builders’ Merchants Awards in London.

The award was presented during a glittering ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane, where over 750 industry professionals gathered to honour excellence across the UK merchanting sector.

A Year of Growth and Achievement

The award recognises the outstanding success of our Dream Kitchens and Bathrooms showroom in Oswestry, which has achieved exceptional growth and customer feedback over the past 12 months.

• Staff numbers have doubled to meet growing demand.

• Sales have increased by 20% compared to the previous year.

• The 220 sq m showroom now features 20 full-sized kitchen and bathroom displays, showcasing the latest designs, materials, and technologies.

Created by reconfiguring part of the Oswestry branch, the showroom has become a go-to destination for both trade professionals and retail customers seeking expert advice and quality solutions.

“To be shortlisted in two categories was a brilliant result, but to win the showroom award is truly outstanding,” said Mark Evans, General Manager of TG Builders Merchants.

“This recognition reflects the hard work, customer service, and innovation shown by the whole team over what has been an incredibly successful year.”

Shortlisted for Branch Manager of the Year

In addition to the showroom success, Paul Morris, Branch Manager at TG Builders Merchants Oswestry, was named one of the final three in the Branch Manager of the Year category.

Under Paul’s leadership, the branch has achieved a 40% increase in annual turnover in under two years — driven by strong customer relationships, operational excellence, and a dedicated team.

“Paul’s shortlisting is a fantastic achievement and highlights the impact of dedicated leadership at branch level,” added Mark Evans.
